Note that the animated one got a lot more youtube hits.

The live action video got 317 views, while the animated graphic spot got 431 views.

The live video version played in a movie theater in Cedar Park, Texas.

A Youtube commercial for ArTex Funding.

I did a google image search on “jigsaw puzzle” and downloaded and outline image.

I already had an “Artex” logo from the many other projects I have made for them.

I put the Artex logo on one layer. And the Jigsaw outline on a second layer.

I would use the magic want selector tool on  each “puzzle piece” then “paint” whatever piece of the logo was under neath.

This youtube commercial played before a video I wanted to see.

Normally, this annoys me.

But the “behind the scenes” footage of the making of the stop motion movie  CORALINE was fascinating to me.

I did a youtube search on some of the words used in this video until I found the Laika / 3D printer commercial.

The did SOME sculpting, but most of the replacement faces were done with a 3D printer.

I love seeing the odd but brilliant ways they made the stop motion animation.

Mixing old tech hand moved stop animation and modern film technology.

This is a youtube commercial I produced for Jamie Johnson Insurance in San Antonio, Texas.

Written by Jamie Johnson and Viviane Maguire of Viv-Design.

The voice over was done by Matthew Kordelski.

Go Pro Rifle Range Tests

I always wanted to try this.  A Go Pro Camera attached to a rifle at a shooting range.

 

We went to Hot Wells Gun Range in Cypress, Texas ( near Houston).

The first shots were taken on a Go Pro 6 using a “Jaws”  flex Clamp.

The rifle’s shooting action moved the camera quite a bit. That footage is within the first minute of this video.

The next set of video shots were taken from a Go Pro 4 using a “bicycle handlebar” clamp.  I was much happier with those videography shots.

 

After approximately sevent minutes, the  footage is from a conventional video camera. A handheld Canon G20.

I did a quick simple edit in Adobe Premiere. I hope a fancier edited version is soon to follow.

I am not a fire arms owner. I hardly ever use them. But I was impressed with the Hot Wells Gun School staff.  Their place was very clean. Seemed very well organized. All the staff were very friendly
