I know past employees of Doug M n’s “Daybreak Direct”.
He seems to be absolutely psychotic (not trying to be funny) and I will be amazed if the company does not go under in the next month (from funding problems; not paying employees; drug addictions (that is the word going around); Texas Workforce Commission complaints, the list goes on and on

No joke – I worked for this guy for a few months, he is snorts more coke than John Belushi did in his prime.
He thrives on unsuspecting workers who are none the wiser, and willing to forestall their personal lives just to chase the carrot on a string.
All he really is, at the end of the day is a drug addled paranoid schizophrenic who owes every former employee he has ever had money. He is a pathological liar, and has no friends.
I guess snorting Peru up your nose, while smoking pot, while drinking all day didn’t turn out that well for you did it Doug?
Good news is, that he is completely broke now, so hopefully we don’t have to tolerate any more of his spam when they shut off his electricity.

Doug was an absolute idiot…always wacked out on cocaine, even smoking pot in his office. It was very common for him to literally scream at employees. Towards the end, he would take whiteboard markers and scribble notes on his white tile floors…he’d gone absolutely nuts. He’d even told his HR manager that he had “no use for 40-year-old women.” He had a penchant for hiring pretty young women with short skirts to be his personal assistant, then would even upgrade them to girlfriend status, even buying one a BMW roadster. I think she suffered a drug overdose at one of his parties…
He would tell us we had a meeting at the country club, and tell us to meet him at his house (employees were expected to drop everything and run to his house…at his beck and call), then we would take us all in his ski boat to the country club, holding a “business meeting” while standing in the bow and smoking a joint. I picked up what I thought was a piece of “art glass” one day, and another employee informed me it was a pipe.
He also kept a closet stocked with little black dresses for when his little playthings (at one time it was the waitresses from Outback Steakhouse), would come over, and he wanted them to dress up like the girls in the Robert Palmer video. There was even black hosiery in the drawers.
No wonder the company kept having to pay off the sexual harassment lawsuits, and they finally had to boot him out of his own company.

I wish he weren’t in such poor health so he could get that ‘extra special’ treatment they give pedophiles in prison.
He is truly evil, and I thank God he is broke… because money is all he ever cared about.
He is probably one of the worst people I have ever met. My doctor advised that I stop working for him… which I did back when I started having dreams about knocking his head off during one of his tweaked out coke benders.
I would love to be there when they haul him off to prison, and they sell everything in his rental house at auction.

Such hyperbole about this guy…. I can’t help wondering whether it’s all true.
But what I really want to know is how he harvests his addresses. I have a user who is ticked off — he thinks Dougie got his address from a WebEx my user had attended. Anyone know whether this might be the case?
