A motion graphics promo video for an upcoming live music show happening April 4, 2019 at 7 pm. At the ROCKBOX in San Antonio.

I did not create most of the imagery in this commercial. I took pre existing band logos and isolated them in Adobe Photoshop using the pen tool, lasso tool, etc.

Then I took the Photoshop files into Adobe After Effects and moved them around. I rendered the background and foreground as separate Alpha Channel-ed layers. T

he layers were brought into Adobe Premiere and re assembled. I added the voice over and under music track.  The compiled filed was exported out of Adobe Premiere as a 1920 by 1080 h264 file.  Then I uploaded the h264 file into youtube and added several meta tags,

Spinning Gear After Effects Animation

 

Mechanical gear “painted” in Adobe Photoshop then imported in Adobe After Effects.

I added rotate the gear then copied and flipped it several times ( its the same gear repeated several times).

 

I added spot lights and stylize> glow effects.

 

This is going to be part of a corporate video.

Note that the animated one got a lot more youtube hits.

The live action video got 317 views, while the animated graphic spot got 431 views.

The live video version played in a movie theater in Cedar Park, Texas.

 

 

 

Funding Puzzle, Artex Funding

A Youtube commercial for ArTex Funding.

I did a google image search on “jigsaw puzzle” and downloaded and outline image.

I already had an “Artex” logo from the many other projects I have made for them.

I put the Artex logo on one layer. And the Jigsaw outline on a second layer.

I would use the magic want selector tool on  each “puzzle piece” then “paint” whatever piece of the logo was under neath.
