In this video, Jean Pierre shows how to automatically synch audio and video files in Adobe Premiere Pro CC. You no longer have to do it manually.
The big advantage to merging the files like this is you can very easily move and cut the video and audio files as a single block, making your editing much easier.
It doesn’t work 100% of the time, but it works often enough that it’s worth taking the 5 secs to try it.
I shot this with a Canon Vixia G20 camera, a lapel mike, and a tripod and slider. I edited it in Adobe After Effects with the Lower Third Super made in Adobe Photoshop..
