From 1997 to 2001 I worked for a high tech software marketing company called Sunset Direct.  The owner was a fan of using video to push sales a decade before YouTube. We produced dozens of sales videos for ourselves and  a variety of clients such as Kidasa Software, Compaq, IBM, and Targus.

Our team would write the video spots with the client, and then I would shoot ( with BetaCam SP cameras) and edited with the AVID Media Composer ( MC1000) with additional elements created with Cinema 4D, Photoshop and After Effects.

This is a highlight reel of some of the work I did in that time period.

The traditional definition of COLLATERAL is

something pledged as security for repayment of a loan, to be forfeited in the event of a default.

Which means you have to already own something that is equal to the amount of money you want to borrow.

Thats frustrating to a lot of us when we think that is we HAD something that valuable why would be trying to get a loan?
