Bloody Battlefields: The Story Of Omaha Beach
Is that Tom Baker, Dr. Who from the 1970s, doing the voice narration?

I always wanted to try this. A Go Pro Camera attached to a rifle at a shooting range.
We went to Hot Wells Gun Range in Cypress, Texas ( near Houston).
The first shots were taken on a Go Pro 6 using a “Jaws” flex Clamp.
The rifle’s shooting action moved the camera quite a bit. That footage is within the first minute of this video.
The next set of video shots were taken from a Go Pro 4 using a “bicycle handlebar” clamp. I was much happier with those videography shots.

After approximately sevent minutes, the footage is from a conventional video camera. A handheld Canon G20.
I did a quick simple edit in Adobe Premiere. I hope a fancier edited version is soon to follow.
I am not a fire arms owner. I hardly ever use them. But I was impressed with the Hot Wells Gun School staff. Their place was very clean. Seemed very well organized. All the staff were very friendly

A logo for Austin / Georgetown based singer Bill Harris / “Mr. Thrill”
It was done in Adobe Flash. Then composited in Adobe After Effects. It is on two layers. The bottom layer has Glow and Blur. Then I exported it in QuickTime Player Pro ( giving it the “old movie” scratches and hairs).
I wonder how they did this back in 1994?
I am sure most of this is The Rolling Stones and the models “Green Screened” into the footage, but do think some of this is the Stones in miniature sets?
Have the Rolling Stones prance about in front of a green screen and then use adobe after effects > motion tracking?
Or have some kind of advanced motion control camera rig so that they shot they Full scale buildings and green screen shots the same way? HOW could they pull of those elaborate moving dolly shots?

I don’t think that even the Rolling Stones could afford to build mini sets for a video. But maybe, (MAYBE) an effects house had some city sets left over from some other film that they could use. But thats a maybe. More likely. they shot wide format ( 70mm????) for both the city and the actors, thus giving them latitude the add movement and shake. Im not saying they DID use models. But if I were the director I would so love to just have mick strut his stuff in a micro set and shoot it hand held. It would make it so much easier and faster.

With some Adobe After Effects Image Stabilization:
https://mattkprovideo.com/2018/07/19/you-know-youre-a-pedicabber-when/
You know you’re a pedicabber when
you think agreeing to be somewhere at 11 am constitutes getting up really really early
you don’t own one pair of “mom presentable” underwear
you thought the ventriloquist guy was funny…. at first
there isn’t one spot in the 6th street alleys you haven’t peed
you often find yourself driving a car like a pedicab…. stopping for yellow lights a car could daily beat but a pedicab couldn’t.
if you see someone on a bicycle you have to stare at them to see if you know them from pedicabbing…. and a weird percentage of time…… you do…
you have the set list of the SPAZZMATICS memorized even better than they do… And you’ve been pedicabbing way too long if you can tell if its the A team Spazzmatics or B team replacements.
as much as you claim you’re broke all the time. every once in a rare while, Santa Pediclause will often leave you a fistful of cash in random sock drawers
the impossible has happened: hot UT coeds grabbing your ass is something you want to avoid happening
you tried getting along with Roman. Once…..
If you’re just riding your bike and see someone who looks lost , you offer them a ride…..
“On what?”
On….. oh yeah… D’ow!”
you bitch that pedicabbing isn’t as good as when you started. Whenever that was.
ok- keep it going
Ray Tomasits, the Hill Country Bass Coach, displays his bass angling skills on Lake LBJ and Mansfield Dam.

Spielberg and Dick Cavett discuss Jaws & Raiders
Spielberg couldn’t say “Midget” today.
In fact on the JAWS DVD he always says “little person.”
This talk show is slow and tame by todays standards. In the “post Arsenio” era they’d be encouraging rowdiness from the crowd.
Today the shark would of course be CGI. But why not “muppeteers” under a rubber shark?
