Lee Mishkin animated and directed IS IT ALWAYS RIGHT TO BE RIGHT?, which won the 1971 Academy Award for Best Animated Short.

Lee also received the presitigious British Grierson Award for directing BUTTERFLY BALL, the first animated rock video.
