Walking Dead Season 10 episode 9 thoughts.

I haven’t been able to watch any of this season.  I used to watch The Walking Dead in a bar,  well Covid 19 put a stop to THAT.

The whisperers have a huge herd of walkers they can lead against their enemies.

We see that they camp out on the surface. We also see that they live next to a huge underground cave, where they are hiding their herd from their enemies.

Why wouldn’t they live in that rain proof, walker proof cave themselves? They would be protected from the elements and hidden from any walkers or human enemies.

Ok some questions about Episode 13..

I watched it on a bad download so I had a hard time following some of it

Michonne went to an Island / ( a peninsula Naval base) because the new guy Virgil told her the naval base he lived at had powerful weapons.

Once there she leans that virgils family was in the grave… but.. they weren’t?

Virgil gets Michonne to use her sword to clear out a building of walkers.  The dialogue was so muffled I couldn’t understand most of it.

Virgil SAYS those walkers are in there because ______???? But we later learn that Virgil really drew a bunch of people in there…____why????

While in her prison cell the prisoners next door tell her they all used to work and then Virgil kidnapped them. But the dialogue was so muffled I couldn’t hear everything. What all did they say to Michonne?

Was that place really a Naval Base or was it a disease research lab???

What happened to make Virgil so nuts?

Virgil gave Michonne some kind of hallucinogen in her tea that made her imagine a life where she DIDNT save Andrea and joined up with Negan and the saviors…. I guess for her to examine a life where where she wasn’t so merciful… mercy she shows to Virgil at the end.

I was baffled that Judith would tell her mother NOT to come home. Thats to drive the plot forward, but it doesn’t make sense character wise.

Beta sees a note with “2 eyes see 1 truth”  on a table. Is this a callback to a previous episode? I vaguely remember Glenn and some girl leaving a note on a table…. or am I having “the Mandela effect” with my memory…
