Carlito’s Way  breaking the 180 degree camera  rule?

The shot of “Ron” /Sasso with Al Pacino seen over his right shoulder, ( in the mirror,) is technically, from “film school rules” a bad shot. A violation of the rule of thirds and really pushes the boundaries of the 180 rule.
