On a Stanley Kubrick facebook forum ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/TSKAS/ ) ,  someone mentioned that Kubrick once thought about doing a porno.

 

I HAD to google that.

On Kubricks wikipedia page it says:

Biographical writer  John Baxter wrote that Kubrick was once keen on directing a pornographic film based on a Terry Southern satirical novel:  Blue Movie, ( a book about a  director who makes Hollywood’s first big-budget porn film).

However, the biographer said that Stanley Kubrick concluded that he did not have the patience or temperament to become involved in the porn industry, and was “too ultra conservative” towards sexuality to have seriously gone ahead with it, but liked the idea.
