I cut the image up in Adobe Photoshop, removed band names, and made the different body parts in layers. I created the final motion graphics piece in Adobe After Effects.
I did not create the original skeleton artwork.

Every time I try to use Adobe Animate (Flash) files in After Effects, the footage ( which looks fine IN Animate) is full of glitches and dropped frames.
When I create animated scenes in PHOTOSHOP it all looks great. But Flash/Animate files come out buggy.
Anyone else have this problem? Do you know of any workarounds?
I render the files as QUICKTIME or H264. What if I rendered/exported the finished scenes as a stack of PNG’s or some other codec/format?

“On the Trail of Delusion” is mostly about the Jim Garrison / Clay Shaw case. It consists mainly of copies of the actual memos Garrison wrote about the case. The title is a spoof/reference to Jim Garrison’s memoir “On the Trail of the Assassins” ( which was the basis for Oliver Stones movie “JFK.”)
In Garrisons book, and the subsequent Stone movie, he presents the “Not SO crazy” or semi-believable theory that Kennedy was shot by anti Castro militiamen affiliated with the CIA. I am not saying I believe that, but its a lot more believable that the “gay thrill killing” or space alien plots that the real Garrison told his staff about.
I don’t think this show is going to be just about the Jim Garrison case, or even mainly about that. But I agree that the title works to describe the whole world of conspiracy thinking, not just the Garrison affair.
I did not produce this. Producer Fred Litwin arranged and recorded the video call between himself and the Professor. He sent me the video via google drive, made some basic edits and added a motion graphic opening and closing.
I started to edit the whole video call the same way I would have edited any other interview or corporate video…. cutting out every pause, every “ummm” and “uhhhh” but it took me 2 days to finish just the first 15 minutes. I’m not going to be able to do that on future episodes.
I added a lot of “B Roll” shots of the NARA archives items being discussed. The carcano rifle, the bullet etc. I also cut out an awkward flub when they were preparing to show the slides but couldn’t find the right one. It now just cuts right to the first slide.
The opening was created by me with a combination of downloaded youtube footage, photoshop graphics, some flash animation, and authored all the elements in Adobe After Effects.
